I had my debut runway show in February 2023, followed by a second in September 2023. I won the Pour Moi Entrepreneur of Excellence Award, was a Big Issue Changemaker, landed on the Vogue 25 list and Vogue business 100 innovators list.. As well as being 2nd in the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100! The channel 4 series ‘The Unique Boutique’ was aired in July 2023 which I co hosted and did the design and illustration work for. I have joined the Lilac Review as co-chair alongside government departments Business and Trade and The Department for Work and Pensions, in partnership with Small Business Britain.

I believe the time is now for us to believe in ourselves and our voice- people are beginning to listen at long last and we really do have the power now to change perceptions and our own futures for the better. So let’s get really LOUD!

Q&A

Have passion. Believe in what you are working on. Don’t keep it to yourself- network with other people, on the Power List and online and anywhere else you can- it takes a village and remember everyone has to start somewhere.
I hope that it has made people feel seen, that they can dress how they want to with the same freedom as non disabled people; I know it has changed the dial on the retail landscape in a permanent way and I am incredibly excited to see this movement grow and inch ever closer to normalising inclusive design and the consumer experience.
I want to dress athletes and Paralympians for ceremonies as well as training! Get an adaptive fashion store on the highstreet.. Get adaptive fashion on to front covers.. Make every brand step up and do their part to serve our community across categories.
Read or watch my comfort tv shows on repeat. I also love to paint and draw and write.
All cats and dogs bring me joy. This wonderful community brings me joy; even when we don’t agree on everything, we can challenge each other and learn so much from each other.
BOTH! I cannot and will not choose between them!
How retailers design for consumers.
We still need access to education and training to enter c-suite level/ head office jobs. Without us in leadership roles, we will continue to be forgotten or kept out. We need to address digital ableism and the platforms that are not actually supporting our needs.
