I have won awards including RTS Best Performance (CBBC’s The Dumping Ground,) leading role in BAFTA winning Comedy “Mobility” & BAFTA winning “Otto Baxter – Not an ****ing Horror Story”, won SENSE Journalism Award, won BASW Journalism Award, nominated for RTS Young Journalist Award.

I’m the UK’s first learning disabled news reporter. I’m the first learning disabled dancer to dance with the main company at Northern Ballet in “Romeo & Juliet” & “Sketches24”.

I qualified as a Special Olympics Athlete Leader.

My advice to others is try to choose a job you love to do. My motivation is doing what I love to do and sharing with others – a “Can Do” attitude

I hope that my appearances on TV have changed audience perceptions about learning disabled people. I hope they see that given the right opportunities, learning disabled people can rise to many challenges and achieve their true potential. We have so much to give.
I would love to see more opportunities open up in TV and media for learning disabled talent. There’s a lot out there.
I keep fit, dance, swim, spend time outdoors, create digital music and films
Music, dance, learning new skills, swimming at Special Olympic events with my Swim Squad, teaching disabled children to swim
Increase Government funding for schools
environment, education & attitude all need changing before everyone is equal.
