Adaptive fashion brand, Unhidden, to show at London Fashion Week

Published 12th September 2023

This is a powerful display of what true inclusion looks like.

Adaptive fashion brand, Unhidden, is showing at London Fashion Week September 2023, and will feature 21 models, all of whom live with a disability, chronic condition or visible difference.

Unhidden aims to normalise true inclusion, something that is rarely seen on catwalks. The disabled-run, adaptive fashion brand aims to make adaptive wear fashionable and seeks to create a collection that is inclusive for people with a wide range of disabilities.

Victoria Jenkins, Founder and CEO of Unhidden, and one of the most influential disabled people as awarded by our Disability Power 100 campaign, reflects on what is coming up in the next few months.

“2023 continues to be a year building on the momentum within the adaptive fashion industry. From Vogue‘s May cover stars of five disabled icons to our own profile in British Vogue, now is the time for the industry to meaningfully and consistently commit to practising inclusion both on runways, in collections and head office.

“I am hugely proud to have played a part in highlighting both the social and financial impact this will bring to a community too long overlooked. A community brimming with creativity and empathy. To once again have the support of Kurt Geiger‘s team for this show is a real testament to their own kindness principles and foundation.”

Listed as one of Vogue’s 25 Powerhouse Women of 2023 and Channel 4’s Unique Boutique presenter; Victoria Jenkins, Unhidden’s founder and award winning designer, is a disabled woman with 16 years in fashion having worked for brands like AllSaints, Victoria Beckham and Me+Em.

We look forward to seeing the latest collection exhibited by Unhidden, and Victoria Jenkins, later this month.
