Diane is CEO of Business Disability Forum, a not-for-profit membership organisation that supports businesses to recruit and retain disabled employees and to serve disabled customers. Diane sits on a number of boards including the Government’s Disability Expert Advisory Panel, Work Autism and the Institute of Coding’s Diversity and Inclusion Board.
She is chair of the Disabled Students’ Stakeholder Group and co-chair of the Disability Charities Consortium. She is also chair of the Challenging Behaviour Foundation.
There are so many high-profile cultural initiatives aiming to make disability more visible right now. From the first disabled Richard III at the RSC to deaf and disabled BAFTA award winners; from the BFI highlighting ableism in film to Arts Council England’s national audience access scheme. And I’m proud of them all as collectively they promise an inclusive future.”
