I am a wheelchair using, Neurodivergent, who uses my life experience to help those in the recruiting world for HSBC and beyond through my role at AMS, who provide outsourced recruitment services to HSBC.

I contact candidates daily to ask how I can help them and support them in the recruitment and onboarding process. I arrange their reasonable adjustments for the recruitment process and support recruiters and hiring managers.

I also talk regularly to HSBC and AMS employees about my experience as a disabled woman and recently was a speaker at HSBC Global Accessibility Awareness Day event. This was one of only three the company held and attracted an audience of thousands. I have been featured in the National Autistic Society’s magazine and also Catalyst, a talent industry magazine. I pride myself on my passion to share my experience of disability and find that my talks are rather sort after and always well received.

In my private life I am a model and actor and although Covid has stopped me from acting, I was recently featured in Shelters new campaign for homelessness – as three years ago I was myself homeless. I now live in West Sussex with my two cats. I enjoy swimming and nature and I am regularly seen around my locality in my wheelchair exploring.

“Don’t fix me, fix the system.”
