James works for the UK disability charity Scope. He is responsible for all of Scope’s campaigning, communications, research and strategy to change attitudes in society.
James has been disabled since birth, and has spina bifida, a physical disability. He is passionate about challenging injustice and inequality, and is lucky enough to be able to do this for a career.
James works with Ministers, Partners, Officials and many others to push for equality for Britain’s 16 million disabled people. He strongly believes in the power of co-production and giving up Scope’s platform for disabled people to share their experiences and stories.
James had led Scope’s charge on the cost of living crisis, challenging Government and businesses to financially support disabled households.
