Julian John is MD of Delsion, a people & development consultancy that focuses on supporting organisations to be more inclusive. When Julian collapsed with brain damage aged 34 on his way to work, he lost more than the ability to stand, walk and talk. Gone were the successful senior management career in HR, his home, the skiing holidays and friendships. Now living with a disability and following years of rehabilitation, he knocked on many doors to be given a chance to show his capability, his years of professional experience and his talent. To no avail. And so out of the closed doors grew a determination, a determination to show the potential in every person. Julian launched Delsion, a people and development consultancy specialising in learning and development and diversity & inclusion solutions for employers and their staff. He made Swansea the first Disability Confident City in the UK as recognised by Number 10 and wrote a number of successful interventions for leadership and development training. As a speaker Julian has engaged many audiences from TedX and IgniteCardiff, the House of Commons to countless organisations across all industry sectors.
