I am a multi award-winning Film Producer, Journalist, Author, and founder of Snowball Community App.
Following a life changing injury aged 32 which left me partially paralysed from the waist down I took ill health retirement and returned to university to study journalism and pursue my passion for writing.
In 2016, I set up a Facebook page called Ability Access (now Snowball Community) which is the most read disability page in the world, it can can reach over 30 million people a month and has over 100,000 followers on social media.
The documentary ‘Access All Areas’ follows mine and my wife’s journey from becoming disabled to where we are today. It has won 16 major film awards and is available on Amazon Prime, Google Play, Youtube Films and Apple.
I am Co-owner of a television and film production company called Branded Studios. Branded Studios has worked with some of the biggest film stars in the world including Sylvester Stallone and Sir, Patrick Stuart to name a few.
Last year I launched Snowball Community App, it is a disability app, TripAdvisor for the disabled community. You can add places, leave reviews and say if you will go back and thousands of reviews have been added.
I was appointed Co Chair along with Jordan Jarrett Bryan (C4, TalkSPORT) of the Disability and Journalism Forum (DJF) UK. This years event is dedicated to helping young students with physical disabilities, mental health issues, learning disabilities into the world of media and journalism as it is one of the most under represented sections in the UK and needs addressing and is being held at BBC Broadcasting House.
