Heidi Carter is 26 and happens to have Down’s syndrome.  

She is the first person with Down’s syndrome to take the UK Government to court over unfair abortion laws. At the moment the law of the land is that a baby without Down’s syndrome can be aborted up to 24 weeks but a baby with Down’s syndrome can be aborted up to birth which is downright discrimination in the womb.
