My name is Shelby, I’m 23 and I’m a social media influencer and model. My condition is called spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2 and I use an electric wheelchair while being ventilated 24/7. 

My goal is to make fashion more accessible for disabled people and to encourage the fashion world to be more inclusive and represent disabled people!.  

When I left education, I finally discovered my own sense of style and I would create YouTube videos showing off my outfits for the different seasons. I then began to travel to London where I would go to YouTube and beauty conventions where I would vlog my experiences and my outfits. From there I decided to take my Instagram more seriously and I started posting full body pictures of my outfits and sharing where I got them to my followers.  

My Instagram has now grown to over 28 thousand followers and I also post fashion and beauty content on Tiktok while educating people on disabilities, where I have nearly 300 thousand followers.
